Welcome to the uplink Help SystemWelcome to the Indiana Workforce Development’s unemployment insurance uplink Help System.
This help system has been created to assist users with the uplink program. Most pages in uplink have a corresponding help page that answers questions that may arise while using uplink. The uplink Help System may be called at anytime by clicking on the
The uplink Help System is comprised of three sections: Contents, Index and Search. They are located above the left hand menu.
The Contents section contains all the corresponding help pages in the uplink system. It also houses this page, as well as a Glossary. Each page within the uplink Help System can be found by clicking on a book icon in the menu on the left hand side of the page. The user sees a list of help pages by clicking on a book. The user may then click on a page to see the help information displayed on the screen.
The Index section contains a list of words and phrases used throughout the Help System. This is an easy way to find a word and corresponding help pages that may have information pertaining to that word. At the top of the Index menu the user may search by keyword. Once a word or phrase in the index is located and clicked on, the help page will be displayed or the menu will list all the pages on which it is found. This list can be clicked on to view any of the referenced pages.
The Search section allows the user to search the entire help system for words, keywords, phrases, screen names, etc. The search either displays a list of all pages where the word or phrase is used, or the message “No Topics Found.” If a list of matches is found, the user can click on the list to bring up the desired help screen.
The Help System should answer questions that arise while using the uplink applications. Please take a moment to get acquainted with the system and all of its functions.
