Establish User Logon Account

In order to logon and manage your Tax or Agent account, you will need to create a user logon account.  This initial user logon account will allow you to create additional internal (your employees) and external (your agents) users who can access your Unemployment Insurance tax account or your Unemployment Insurance agent account.  If you are an agent and you have an Unemployment Insurance tax account you will need to create a user logon account for your role as agent and a user logon account for your role as an employer.

 

You may enter any username you like up to 30 characters in length.  Your password must be 8 – 15 characters long.  We recommend you use a mixture of alphabetic (upper and lower case), numeric, and symbol characters to create your password.

 

The information you provide on this screen will help us provide assistance to you in the future if you forget your password or username. 

 

You are also asked to enter a secret question and answer.  You may type in any question and answer that your wish.  The question and answer will be used to assist DWD in authenticating your identity should such authentication become necessary.

 

You will be asked to accept the user agreement and verify your identity.

 

Your Uplink password:

• Must be at least 8 characters

• May not be the same as your username or contain your username

• Must contain at least one lower case letter, one upper case letter, one number and one special character

• The special character cannot be the first character in the password

• The following characters may be used as a special character: ! @ # $ % ^ * . _

• May not be the same as any of the 5 previous passwords used
