Existing User

If you have an existing user logon account, you may type your username and password to log into the IDWD’s Unemployment Insurance system and manage your account.  The password is case sensitive.

 

Your password must be 8 – 15 characters long.  We recommend you use a mixture of alphabetic (upper and lower case), numeric, and symbol characters to create your password.

 

Your Uplink password:

• Must be at least 8 characters

• May not be the same as your username or contain your username

• Must contain at least one lower case letter, one upper case letter, one number and one special character

• The special character cannot be the first character in the password

• The following characters may be used as a special character: ! @ # $ % ^ * . _

• May not be the same as any of the 5 previous passwords used

 

If you forget your password:

 

  • Select the “forgot password” button

  • Enter the username and the email address you entered in your user logon account information.

 

Once the username and email address have been verified, you will receive an email providing you with your password.

 

If you forget your username:

 

  • Select the “forgot username” button

  • Enter the email address you entered when you initially set up your logon account. 

 

Once the username and email address have been verified, you will receive an email providing you with your username.

 

If you do not remember the email address you provided please call the Department of Workforce Development help desk at 1-800-891-6499.  For your protection you will be asked to answer a security question you entered when you initially created your logon account.
