Responsible Party

All businesses must be registered with at least one Responsible Party.  The Responsible Party is the person(s) responsible for the employer’s legal and business activities.  This includes an owner/proprietor, partners, corporate officers, limited liability company manager or member(s), and principals in nonprofit organizations.  In the case of proprietors and partners, they are also personally liable for the employer’s liabilities.  Please provide the full name and title (selected from the drop-down listing) of each individual, their Social Security number, and their telephone number.     

Update Responsible Party

All businesses must be registered with at least one Responsible Party.  The Responsible Party is the person(s) responsible for the employer’s legal and business activities.  This includes an owner/proprietor, partners, corporate officers, limited liability company manager or member(s), and principals in nonprofit organizations.  In the case of proprietors and partners, they are also personally liable for the employer’s liabilities.  You may update an existing Responsible Party’s information by clicking on Edit, updating the information, and clicking on Update.  You may also add a Responsible Party by providing their full name and title (selected from the drop-down listing), their Social Security number, and their telephone number, and then clicking on Add and New.    

After you have updated, added, or deleted a Responsible Party, may Logoff or make another selection from the menu.
