ESS Logon

Welcome to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development’s (IDWD) Employer Self Serve (ESS) website. This logon page provides the user with the following options:

 

  • Employers or Employer Agents who are new to ESS need to establish a “New User” logon account.  You will need an email address, contact name, and phone number to establish a new user name and password.

 

  • After you have established a Username and Password, you may register a new business for an unemployment tax account, update account profile information (addresses, telephone numbers, etc.), and assign account access rights to individuals within your organization or to Employer Agents. Employer Agents are required to register before a client may assign them account access.  Although not currently available, you will also be able to file quarterly Contribution and Wage Reports and make tax payments.

 

  • If you forget your Username or Password, the “Forgot Password” and “Forgot Username” links provide an easy means to have either emailed immediately.

 

  •  If you need to recover your credentials due to a prior administrator being unavailable, the “Forgot Username” option followed by “Forgot Email” will allow you to reset your Administrator account.
